Is this experience for you?

Creativity, Lived is designed for culturally curious adults interested in how creativity is practised through objects, materials, relationships, hospitality and everyday life.

Guests do not need to identify as artists or designers. Curiosity, openness and a willingness to participate in thoughtful conversation matter more than prior creative experience.

What unfolds

The evening unfolds inside a lived creative home through shared dining, personal stories, meaningful objects and guided conversation.

Clair Concepcion-Barberis introduces guests to the ideas, materials and relationships that shape her practice. The conversation moves through heritage-driven contemporary design, Filipino craftsmanship, sustainability, creative collaboration, spaces for connection and human creativity in the age of AI.

Guests are invited to observe closely, ask questions and contribute their own reflections throughout the evening.

What is included

The experience includes a hosted participatory programme with Clair Concepcion-Barberis, guided conversation, an encounter with selected objects and aspects of her creative practice, and shared dining.

Final menu details and dietary arrangements will be communicated to approved guests.

Access and considerations

The experience takes place inside a private residence. Applicants are encouraged to share any mobility, dietary, sensory or other participation requirements in the application form.

Specific access guidance and the exact arrival instructions will be provided to approved, fully paid guests.

How applications work

Applications are reviewed personally within two business days.

A submitted application does not guarantee a place. Approved guests receive a private payment link valid for 24 hours. Your place is confirmed once payment is complete.

Each guest must apply separately unless the experience states otherwise.

Clair Concepcion-Barberis is the founder and creative director of Artifeks Design Studio.

Her practice transforms Filipino craftsmanship into contemporary furniture, lighting and objects. Working with artisans as creative collaborators, she explores how heritage, material knowledge and contemporary life can meet through design.

For Creativity, Lived, Clair opens her creative world through personal stories, meaningful objects and a guided conversation about making, collaboration, sustainability and human creativity.

Local value

Creativity, Lived centres a Filipino-led design practice and makes visible the relationships behind contemporary furniture, lighting and objects.

Artifeks Design Studio approaches artisans as creative collaborators whose material knowledge contributes to the development of each work. Confirmed culinary and supporting suppliers for this release will be identified when their participation is final.

Cultural care

Filipino craftsmanship is introduced through the experience and perspective of the practitioner who works directly with it.

Heritage, material knowledge and artisan collaboration are presented with context rather than used as decorative references. Guests are invited to consider how traditional knowledge continues through contemporary creative practice.
