Refund policy
Return and Refund Policy
With Meraki Travel Collection primarily offer scheduled Experiences and services operated by Ampersand Design Think Lab Corp. Because these are services rather than conventional physical merchandise, physical returns generally do not apply.
Experience-specific cancellation terms
Each Experience may have its own cancellation, refund, transfer, rescheduling, late-arrival and no-show conditions based on the nature of the experience and the commitments required to deliver it.
The applicable conditions will be disclosed on the relevant booking page or otherwise made available before purchase. Those experience-specific conditions form part of the booking agreement and apply together with this policy, subject always to applicable law.
Guest cancellations
If you choose to cancel a confirmed booking, refund eligibility will be determined by the cancellation conditions stated for the experience at the time of purchase.
We do not apply one universal cancellation period across all experiences.
Where an experience permits a booking transfer, date transfer, credit or other alternative, the applicable conditions and deadlines will be stated for that experience.
A change of mind does not automatically create a right to a refund where the booked service is otherwise being provided as agreed. This does not affect remedies available to consumers for defective, imperfect or improperly delivered services under applicable law. The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry distinguishes change-of-mind cancellations from consumer remedies where goods or services are defective or imperfect.
No-shows and late arrivals
Failure to attend an experience, or arrival too late to participate in some or all of it, will be handled according to the conditions stated on the applicable booking page.
Guests are responsible for reviewing meeting times, locations and pre-experience instructions provided to them.
Cancellation by us
We may cancel, postpone or materially change an experience where reasonably necessary because of circumstances including:
- safety considerations;
- weather or environmental conditions;
- venue, host or material supplier unavailability;
- minimum operating requirements;
- access restrictions or closures;
- government or authority restrictions; or
- other circumstances that prevent responsible delivery of the Experience.
If we cancel an experience before it begins, affected guests will be entitled to the refund treatment stated for that experience. Where we offer transfer to another date, another experience or a booking credit, this may be offered as an alternative rather than automatically replacing a refund where a refund is due.
This follows the existing With Meraki Travel Collection retail terms, which provide for organizer cancellation, postponement and material changes while preserving the guest remedy stated for the particular Experience.
Weather and operating conditions
Weather, traffic, natural conditions or other ordinary operating conditions do not automatically mean an experience is cancelled.
Some experiences may proceed with reasonable modifications where they can still be delivered safely and without materially reducing what was purchased.
For outdoor, marine, nature-based or weather-dependent experiences, the applicable booking information may identify specific operating conditions, safety triggers, alternative arrangements or remedies.
Safety decisions made by the Organizer, venue, qualified host, guide, coach, skipper, authority or other responsible operator must be followed.
Material changes
We may make reasonable operational adjustments that do not materially reduce the experience purchased.
Where a change materially affects a core component of the experience, the remedy communicated for that experience will apply.
Third-party and committed costs
Certain experiences involve advance commitments to venues, hosts, accommodation providers, transport providers, restaurants, guides or other suppliers.
Any restriction arising from a non-refundable or committed third-party cost that affects the guest's cancellation or refund entitlement will be disclosed before purchase where applicable. We will not introduce an undisclosed non-refundable supplier charge only after a cancellation occurs.
Refund processing
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time required for funds to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider, bank or card issuer.
Physical goods
If an experience or purchase includes a physical item, any applicable return, replacement or refund conditions for that item will be stated on the relevant product or booking page.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any consumer right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Philippine law.
DTI guidance specifically recognizes consumer remedies for defective or imperfect services and requires online businesses to make return, cancellation and refund information available to consumers.
