Under Sail: Skipper-Guided Sailing on Taal Lake, Batangas

Under sail, even a change in the breeze can alter the course of an afternoon. With a qualified skipper, guests become more attentive to the wind and the water, sharing in the concentration and pleasure of sailing. Each departure is offered for paid booking against planned partner and supplier arrangements, subject to final operating confirmation and safe conditions.

How it unfolds

Arrival and orientation

Meet the group at the designated waterfront, where the sailing team introduces the conditions, equipment and instructions for the session before everyone boards.

Learn by sailing

Move onto the water and discover sailing through direct participation. With guidance from the crew, observe the wind and adjust to the movement of the boat, taking on tasks appropriate to the session.

Back on shore

Return to shore, disembark and exchange impressions of the time on the water. Any meal or transport arrangements belong to the specific departure, not the sailing experience itself.

Practical information

Accessibility

This experience involves boarding and moving within small sailing vessels, maintaining balance on the water, wearing a life vest and following instructor directions. Conditions may include wind, sun, spray, wet surfaces and movement caused by the lake.

Share any mobility, balance, health or access considerations before booking so the team can explain the vessel configuration and discuss what support can reasonably be provided.

What to bring
  • Quick-drying clothes or swim/activewear suitable for sailing
  • Water sandals, water shoes or sailing footwear that can get fully wet
  • A full change of dry clothes

Expect wet feet, spray and wet surfaces around boarding and on the water. Final weather and packing guidance will be sent before departure.

Select your Sunday departure, preferred package and number of guests. The Complete Experience includes food and shared Metro Manila transfers; the other packages give you the freedom to arrange either yourself.

Your booking is conditional. Payment secures a paid reservation request, not a guaranteed departure. Souló must first confirm the partner, skipper, vessel, lawful access, capacity, weather and safety clearance, as well as any food and transport included in your package.

If Souló cannot deliver the departure or purchased package, you may accept another available option or receive a full refund to your original payment method. Refund processing is subject to the payment provider. No sailing proceeds without safety clearance.
